Architect, design, and deliver scalable, high-performance, cloud-native solutions using Java and modern engineering practices.
Collaborate closely with product, architecture, operations, security, and compliance teams to translate business goals into robust technical designs.
Leverage and evolve a modern technology stack including Java, AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Champion engineering excellence, setting best practices around code quality, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps culture.
Mentor and uplift engineers, building high-performing, modern engineering teams.
Act as a technical change agent, evolving systems, tooling, and ways of working.
Balance long-term modernisation strategy with short-term delivery priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Expert-level Java engineering experience with modern frameworks and tooling.
Strong hands-on experience designing and building cloud-native systems on AWS.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern SDLC approaches.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence architecture, engineering, and product stakeholders.
