The Opportunity
Arlo's finance team is expanding, and we're seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic and fast-growing team in Cork. This is a permanent position ideal for an experienced accounting manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures the integrity of financial reporting through disciplined reconciliation and control processes.
Job Summary:
Arlo is seeking a high-Caliber Senior Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our global General Ledger and consolidation function within a US-listed public company.
This is a pivotal leadership role with significant visibility across the global organization. You will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, lead the global close and consolidation process, and partner closely with both US Corporate Finance and the Cork-based accounting team.
We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment, takes end-to-end accountability, and continuously raises the bar on quality, controls, and efficiency.
Flexibility to work overlapping hours with US time zones, particularly during month-end and quarter-end close, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and lead the global General Ledger and consolidation process across Corporate and International entities, ensuring alignment, consistency, and accuracy across regions.
* Drive a disciplined, high-quality monthly and quarterly close process in a public company environment.
* Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments across multiple entities.
* Support US GAAP reporting and SEC reporting requirements in partnership with the US corporate team.
* Partner closely with Corporate Finance (US), FP&A, Tax, and external auditors.
* Partner closely with the Cork-based accounting team to ensure coordinated close execution, and strong cross-functional collaboration across the global finance organization.
* Ensure strong internal controls and compliance within a public company framework.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
* Provide leadership and development to members of the finance team.
* Serve as a trusted partner to US stakeholders, including availability during critical US time zone close activities.
What We're Looking For
* Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
* Significant experience in a public company environment.
* Strong background in global consolidations within a multinational corporation.
* Deep expertise in General Ledger management and corporate reporting.
* Proven ability to take full ownership and accountability for complex accounting processes.
* Experience supporting US GAAP reporting and working with US-based stakeholders.
* Strong systems experience (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
* High attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to operate independently while collaborating across global teams.
* Flexibility to work overlapping hours with US time zones during critical reporting periods.
