We are seeking a Personal Lines Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, addressing policy renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments across home, motor, and travel products.
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in customer retention, policy administration, and sales while working closely with brokers and stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Provide telephone-based support to customers on all aspects of general insurance underwriting
2. Respond to customer queries relating to our products (home, motor & travel) in a timely and efficient manner, striving to exceed quality customer service standards
3. Retain current customers in line with challenging business targets by identifying upsell opportunities for additional policy benefits
4. Contact targeted renewals to drive retention targets and build strong relationships with potential and existing customers
5. Focus on achieving challenging service levels with customer centricity crucial to all processes
Requirements
To be successful as a Personal Lines Professional, you will require:
1. Excellent phone manner and communication skills to effectively engage with customers
2. Good IT Skills (use of MS Office Products) to efficiently manage data and systems
3. A minimum of 2 honours in Higher Level subjects in the Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience
4. Experience in similar work environments, dealing with customers and providing excellent customer service
5. Familiarity with the insurance industry would be an advantage, but not essential
6. Completed or be in the process of completing CIP as a minimum and/or ACII qualification
7. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret data
8. Have the ability to prioritize and manage own work while considering the greater impact on the team
9. Be enthusiastic, professional, positive, and flexible, with the ability to self-motivate and adapt to changing conditions
10. Build strong relationships with customers quickly and put them at the centre of everything we do
