Our client is a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer within the construction sector, known for delivering
technical, solution-based products
into major building and infrastructure projects.
With a strong presence across the West of Ireland and long-standing relationships with leading contractors, they continue to grow and invest in their commercial team.
THE ROLE
This is a
field-based technical sales role
, focused on selling engineered solutions directly to
main contractors, specialist subcontractors and civil contractors
across the West of Ireland.
This is not a catalogue sale – you will be involved in a
consultative, solution-led sales process
, working closely with site teams and decision-makers throughout the lifecycle of a project.
The role is
70% account management / 30% new business
, with a strong base of existing clients to develop, while also identifying new opportunities across active and upcoming projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and developing relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors
Selling technical construction solutions on-site
Engaging with multiple stakeholders across projects (site managers, engineers, procurement, etc.)
Managing longer sales cycles from early engagement through to project completion
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across your territory
Providing technical support and solutions tailored to project requirements
THE PERSON
We are looking to speak with
construction sales professionals
who understand how to sell to contractors.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in
solution-based sales into the construction sector – 2 years+
Strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
Experience managing
longer, project-led sales cycles
Ability to engage multiple stakeholders across site and commercial teams
A commercial, proactive and relationship-driven approach
Full driving licence and ability to cover the territory
This role will suit someone who enjoys being on-site, working closely with contractors and delivering
technical, value-driven solutions
rather than transactional sales.
THE PACKAGE
Base Salary: €40,000 – €60,000 DOE
Bonus: €10,000 +
