JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:This role involves developing and executing effective technological software solutions for our customers, tailored to their needs.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting competitive solutions in the Smart Technologies space, including RFID and Print Solutions, building strong relationships internally and externally, and advocating for our full portfolio of technological solutions and services to key customer contacts.You'll be helping to craft new solutions, testing them, and rolling out products for our customers that provide innovative, machine vision solutions for their retail or logistics challenges.
You'll need to be proactive in problem solving and understand the sales process, including how development time is billed within a business, to be able to influence the relevant sales team on pricing and time taken for projects.WHY APPLY:Friendly team of around 30 people in total in our office in Clonmel.Opportunity to train and learn about exciting, new technologies (such as machine vision) and get involved in shaping our product offering.Opportunity to travel globally - we have customers all over the world and want to extend our Smart Technologies reach
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Conduct feasibility studies using machine vision software.Assist in project specifications and estimate smart technology, and in particular RFID, projects.Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives.
Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to address customer needs effectively.
Deep dive into their needs by asking questions and identifying opportunities.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the company's offerings.Collaborate with customers and internal teams (such as Software Engineers) to design custom solutions that align with customer requirements and objectives.
