This person will support the Parts and Warehouse function in the supply of parts to the Workshop, driving improvements in working efficiencies and Customer Service Levels, through proactive planning and communication with the Service Team on Workshop repairs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Workshop:
7. Provide a timely and efficient parts delivery process for all workshop repairs (planned/unplanned), liaising with workshop personnel as required
8. Perform routine checks for parts supply on all workshop jobs
9. Ensure a fast, efficient & accurate delivery of components to relevant jobs in the Workshop
10. Pre- Picking of parts and order planning for Workshop jobs
11. Prepare and process all parts related documentation
12. Liaising with suppliers.
13. Ensuring job cards contain correct parts information ready for the admin team to invoice, and in a timely fashion.
14. Prepare & provide quotes (pricing of parts) for Workshop jobs
15. Execute the Warranty Returns process
16. Assist with the management and control of all Workshop related parts administration
17. Manage and co-ordinate the supply of special tools/consumables to Technicians
18. Ensure pallets are stacked and strapped for returns to be carried out
Skills Profile:
19. Motor Trade experience
20. Technical knowledge of motor vehicles
21. Forklift licence
22. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
23. Highly organised
24. Excellent communication skills
25. Excellent interpersonal skills
26. Flexible approach to work tasks
27. Strong forward planning and follow up skills ensuring all item requests closed out
28. Computer literate (Excel / Outlook / systems)
Essential Requirements
29. Extensive knowledge of vehicle type and parts, HGV experience would be preferable.
30. Confident utilizing a computerized parts system
31. Experience of stock management and following parts processes with attention to detail.
32. Experience with handling warranty
33. An effective communicator with commitment to provide excellent customer service.
34. Organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative under pressure.
35. The ability to work efficiently as an individual but also as part of a team
