This role is ideal for someone passionate about entrepreneurship (in particular tech clients), with a flair for content creation and a strategic mindset for marketing and events.This role is central to supporting program development, strategic partnerships, and outreach activities for a growing network of innovation hubs across Kildare. It focuses on fostering innovation amongst our clients, expanding networks, and delivering exceptional member engagement.This role will implement the brand vision for the K-Hub Strategy and Innovate Kildare.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Content CreationDevelop and execute a content calendar across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc) for multiple hubs.Create engaging multimedia content with high-impact visuals and storytelling (graphics, videos, reels, newsletters, etc) tailored to MERITS' tech audience.Maintain brand voice and visual identity across all channels and hubs.Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.Report monthly on activity and forward planning.Marketing & CampaignsDevelop and execute a Communications Strategy for the hubs and Innovate KildareDesign and implement organic and paid campaigns to promote programmes, events, and initiatives.Collaborate with external partners (e.g. LEO, Enterprise Ireland, Kildare County Council, etc.) to amplify messaging.Event Promotion & SupportPromote innovation hub events through digital channels, email marketing, and community outreach.Manage pre-event preparations, logistics, registration, and on-site content capture (lives, stories, reels, etc) for all eventsLiaise with speakers, mentors, and attendees to ensure smooth communications and brand alignment.Ensure all slides, visual content and communication systems are in place.Content Strategy & Community EngagementDevelop newsletters, and founder stories that highlight impact of hub engagements.Engage with the tech cluster clients online and offline to foster relationships and gather insights. In addition, activate LEO supports and opportunities with tech cluster members.Respond to queries and comments in a timely, professional manner.Identify client needs and develop tailored services.Support coordination of a calendar of cluster activities and events.Build strong relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.Expand the hub's network regionally and benchmark globally.Program Development, Delivery and Operational SupportSupport the design and execution of innovation programs and provide event/project management supportContinuously improve events/programs using feedback and benchmarking.Ensure efficient use of resources like meeting rooms and conference suites.Oversee operational support and logistics.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.5+ years' experience in social media management, content creation, or event marketing.Proficiency in Canva, video editing tools, scheduling platforms and social media.Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics).Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Desirable AttributesKnowledge of the Irish tech/startup ecosystemPassion for entrepreneurship and innovationAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsCreative thinker with a strategic mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentCV and covering letter should be sent to no later than 3pm on Friday 17 th October.
