Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Director to oversee daily kitchen operations at our hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to bring their expertise and passion for culinary excellence to our team.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu items
* Develop and implement new menu concepts, working closely with the General Manager to ensure alignment with hotel goals and objectives
* Supervise and mentor the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles
* Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and sourcing high-quality ingredients to meet the needs of our guests
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar property
* Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
