Data Governance & Compliance Manager
PwC Ireland – Business Enablement Services – Chief Data Office
This role supports the Chief Data Office by delivering excellent data management services, defining policies and procedures, and ensuring governance across core data areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of data projects and initiatives
Lead a Network Data Policy compliance programme
Develop and implement data management policies
Drive effective data domain ownership and governance
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements in data management
Engage with all stakeholders for effective remediation of data gaps and governance issues
Collaborate with business process owners, risk management and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and promote data awareness across the business
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 6+ years in data management with a strong focus on data governance and data policies
Experience working with high-performing teams and delivering to deadlines
Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and manage multi‑tasking environments
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and storytelling skills
Demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, adaptability and integrity
Proactive work approach and sound judgement; ability to develop internal and external business relationships
Education: Minimum third‑level qualification; data management qualification (e.g., DAMA CDMP) desirable.
