You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s narrative, enhancing employee engagement, and strengthening stakeholder relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesInternal CommunicationsLead internal campaigns to drive engagement, safety culture, and organisational alignment.Provide support to HR department with campaigns focussed on developing employee engagement.Support CRH communications and internal news articles.Oversee content and analytics for the internal Connect App, including regular updates and engagement reporting.External CommunicationsOversee social media channels and manage engagement with the public.Lead monthly social media planning and campaign execution across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Vimeo).Monitor and report on social media analytics to inform future content strategy.Use Mailchimp and similar tools to execute internal and external campaigns, including event invites and product promotions.Manage company messaging around product launches, sustainability initiatives, and employee engagement.Support the development of e-commerce through strategic content creationProvide communications support for events, including trade shows, seminars, CPD sessions, and product launches.Content CreationProduce high-quality content for social media posts, video scripts and interviews.Produce and manage photo and video content for product promotions, campaigns, and organic posts.Collaborate with internal teams for content production and editing.Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, media, industry bodies, and community partners.Represent Roadstone at events as needed.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.5+ years of experience in a communications role, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.Proven track record in developing and delivering strategic communications plans.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.A keen eye for marketing trends and graphic design would be advantageous.Paid Holidays (22 days)Employee Assistance ProgrammeFree parkingBike-to-Work SchemeThe successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a desire for personal, Company and Group achievement.Deadline for Applications is 5pm, Friday the 29th August 2025Skills NeededAbout The CompanyRoadstone’s nationwide business includes the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of construction products including ready-mix concrete, aggregates, asphalt and macadam, mortar and plaster, concrete blocks and masonry, paving products, roof tiles and agricultural lime.
