Scope of Position
Assist the Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of the Air Export Department, ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight while delivering exceptional customer service.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
* Accurately and promptly enter data into our operational system
* Track and trace Air Export files and generate reports
* Communicate arrival notices to overseas offices and customers
* Ensure accurate and timely billing for clients and vendors
* Coordinate with customers to arrange international shipments, maintaining high customer service standards
* Maintain good relationships with suppliers such as airline carriers and trucking companies
* Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations, including government regulations
* Understand departmental process flow and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
* Ensure all customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented and updated
* Meet KPI standards according to company procedures
* Respond promptly to internal and external emails and requests
* Escalate issues to management when necessary
* Complete mandatory training as required
* Promote compliance by diligently following company policies and regulations, performing tasks with integrity and pride
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of industry-specific experience
* Good knowledge of market and product
* Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication to achieve positive results
* Proactive with strong organizational skills
