Position
Water Technician (Level 1)
Responsibilities
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all times.
Carry out tasks in accordance with Marlowe Environmental Services procedures and method statements.
Maintain and promote health and safety standards within the team, subcontractors, and clients.
Plan and ensure work is completed on time and to maximum efficiency.
Liaise with client representatives as required.
Report any pertinent issues to the field manager or client representative.
Adhere to the client’s specific health and safety/safe working practices.
Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose.
Perform tasks identified for the Water Technician: TMV valve servicing (failsafe and strip‑down), cleaning of cooling towers & tanks (second man), tank inspections, temperature monitoring and accurate recording, sampling of domestic systems for laboratory submission, descaling and cleaning of showers & shower heads, flushing of lightly used outlets.
Maintain correct documentation on the tablet or electronic system and transmit it in real time.
Conduct BSRIA Chemistry and BSRIA Micro sampling where required.
