Key Responsibilities
* To set up the kitchen area with all necessary cooking utensils and equipment
* Cook food in an efficient and timely manner
* Supervise and assist other kitchen staff as required
* Assign tasks to kitchen personnel when needed
* Maintain accurate records of food stock levels
* Adhere to all dietary requirements and guidelines if necessary
* Familiarize yourself with HACCP procedures and ensure compliance at all times
* Guarantee adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a Relief Chef in a similar setting
* Holding a recognized chef qualification
* Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment
* A strong understanding of culinary techniques including baking and pastry preparation
* Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
* Ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities
* Demonstrated time management skills
