There are also a range of travel options available to staff, including the LUAS network and the Central Park shuttle service between Dublin City Centre and Central Park, which means getting to work has never been so easy.Role Description:The EMEA Accounting and Reconciliation Team are responsible for managing a wide variety of Balance Sheet reconciliations with focus on risk and exposure management and process improvement. The role will require engagement with business partners in each region including but not limited to Cash Equity, Debt, Futures, Collateral and Prime Brokerage businesses including front to back, inter/intra company and custodian reconciliations.Key to success in the role will be the active participation, not only in maintaining the day-to-day controls and risk management, but also the ongoing work on process improvements and mandatory new business projects.The candidate will get the opportunity to develop greater understanding as to how BAML operates, allowing for interaction with various operational teams.Responsibilities:Working towards meeting daily, weekly & monthly targetsCross-training to cover all functions as the need arisesIdentifying control gaps and closing them ASAPEnsure variances between the general ledger and the sub ledger (or other independent supporting balances) are investigated, documented, and aged correctlyAdhere to the charge off schedule where relevantWork with the team and GRG to ensure EIRT (Enhanced Independent Reconciliation Testing) and compliance reviews are consistently passed. Any failures are to be reviewed, mitigated & remediated in a timely mannerEnsure you maintain accurate and audit ready pack proceduresEnsure a consistent focus on continuous improvements.
