Location: Children’s Services, CDNT 2 Ballyboden, Tallaght
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Contract Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary Scale: €62,274 to €98,223 pro rata per annum (subject to LSI's)
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum, less for less than 12 months
Overview of the Post
To work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families. The post involves delivering psychology services, including assessment and intervention, to children accessing the service.

Candidate Requirements
Essential Criteria:
* University degree or diploma (QQI level 8) with 1st or 2nd class honours in Psychology, with honours in the major subject.
* Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
* Demonstrate competence in the relevant Care Group(s).
* For clinical or counselling psychology: at least 60 days of supervised clinical placements or post-qualification supervised work experience in relevant health settings.
* For educational psychology: similar experience as above in relevant settings.
* Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or British Psychological Society (BPS).
* Eligible to work in Ireland and hold a valid driving license with access to transport.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities.
* Skills in managing behaviours of concern and conducting diagnostic assessments, including ASD and intellectual disabilities.
* Knowledge of the HSE Progressing Disability Services Programme and Enable Ireland services.
* Experience in a disability service and interdisciplinary team working.
