We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Operative with a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors. This role combines customer service, maintenance, and yard duties to keep our garden centre running smoothly.Duties include:Receive and process stock deliveries, ensuring accurate handling and display.Maintain cleanliness and presentation of both indoor and outdoor areas.Assist customers with product queries and general support.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operationsOrganize and maintain the yard area, including bulk materials, pallets, and equipment.Operate forklifts or other machinery (if certified ) to move heavy goods safely.Ensure safe storage and handling of landscaping supplies and garden products.Support loading and unloading of customer vehicles with larger purchases.Monitor yard safety and report any hazards or maintenance needs.We are looking forA hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to work outdoor / indoorStrong communication and customer service skills.Forklift certification or machinery experience is a plus (but not essential).Previous experience in retail, horticulture, or yard work is desirable.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:similar posititon: 2 years (required)Licence/Certification:Forklift Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
