Job Title: Financial Controller – Dublin North
This role will be providing leadership to the finance team and ensuring a strong framework of internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a robust financial control framework aligned with business needs
2. Monitor systems & procedures, identify efficiencies, and lead process improvements
3. Provide technical & general accounting support to the finance team and wider business
4. Lead the cash flow cycle, including planning, forecasting, and reporting
5. Ensure financial policies & procedures are up-to-date and fully documented
6. Oversee key financial reporting, including:
1. Statutory accounts & annual reports
2. Corporate balance sheet
3. Monthly & quarterly financial reporting
7. Act as a Finance SME for financial systems (Oracle, Cognos, TM1, HFM)
8. Lead Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Treasury teams
9. Manage insurance matters related to company assets, employees, and operations
10. Supervise relationships with external auditors
11. Support ad hoc projects as required by senior leadership
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Accountant with strong technical expertise
2. Experience with US GAAP & SOX compliance
3. Proven leadership & people management skills
4. Ability to drive change in a dynamic business environment
5. Strong financial analysis & reporting capabilities
6. Statutory accounts and audit experience
7. Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
8. Ability to influence senior management teams
9. Comfortable with complexity & ambiguity
10. Results-driven with strong prioritization skills
