The Role
PE Global are recruiting for an Organisational Development Consultant for our medical device client based in Galway. This is an initial 24-month contract, fully remote role.
Responsibilities
* Assesses critical business issues, designs organization development tools, and evaluates both long/short-term strategic plans to enhance company performance.
* Designs and implements programs and processes including coaching, training, organizational design, and process improvement to enhance the effectiveness of managers, teams and organizations to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
* Assesses critical business issues and designs organization development and strategic plans to enhance company performance.
* Facilitates change management through design and implementation of reengineering and/or reorganization efforts.
* Advises on team design and performance.
* Provides development, coaching and training to managers on leadership skills and organizational effectiveness.
* Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
* May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.
* The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.
* Strongly influences the design of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on functional results. Implements strategic goals established by functional leadership. Changes or may establish operational plans for job area with long-range impact on results.
* Faces problems that span a wide range of difficulty and unique issues across functions and / or businesses which may cause redirection.
* Develops solutions to unique issues and improves upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
* Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, including executive leadership, on significant matters. Conducts briefings with senior leaders within the job function. Negotiates with others to reach understanding or agreement.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in change management, preferably as a contractor or consultant
* Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to adapt to different organizational cultures and effectively navigate through diverse stakeholder groups.
* Project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives within specified timeframes.
* Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify and address challenges during change implementation.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively as part of a project team
* Proficiency in using change management software, collaboration tools, and other relevant technology platforms.
