The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels, is recruiting for a Full Time Reservations Assistant.

Key Responsibilities As a Reservations Agent, your role will include: Handling incoming calls and emails related to reservations, confirmations, special requests, and guest enquiries Maintaining full knowledge of all rates, packages, and promotions at The Merrion Ensuring all reservations are accurately entered into the PMS system Communicating relevant information clearly to other hotel departments Reviewing arrival lists and ensuring special requests are followed up correctly Building strong guest relationships, converting enquiries into bookings, and upselling where appropriate Demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail Working collaboratively as part of a team while delivering exceptional customer service Working Hours Full-Time: 39 hours per week, on site Monday to Friday, with some Saturday hours required The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous reservations experience in a similar hotel environment Experience using the Opera Cloud system is important Excellent written and spoken English Strong communication skills and a passion for guest service A positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to The Merrion's culture Flexibility to respond to guest and business needs; no two days are the same.
