The Banqueting & Events Supervisor is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience and enjoy excellent service.
About Us
Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside.
The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in ****, on the same site as the original castle.
Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December ****.
The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey's Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

Role & Responsibilities

Your role with us will include:
To assist the Conference & Banqueting Manager in following up on business referrals and potential sales leads
To assist the Conference & Banqueting Manager in supervising the function of all Conference & Banqueting Department employees, facilities, sales and costs in order to ensure maximum departmental profits are achieved.
To assist the Conference & Banqueting Manager in the preparation, presentation and service of banquet food and beverage products so as to ensure highest quality at all times.
To inspect equipment, technical equipment, linen, silver, China and other items
To know how to operate all departmental equipment, including technical equipment such as copying machine, fax, projectors, videos, TV's etc.
To assist the Conference & Banqueting Manager in developing formal training plans and conducting on the job training sessions for the Conference & Banqueting Department employees.

Requirements
Notwithstanding your positivity and ambition for hospitality we ideally would ideally like you to have some experience for your role as outlined below:
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong ability to work efficiently and deal with busy periods competently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills.

Required Criteria
Candidate must be available to work a mixture of morning and evening shifts, weekends and public holidays
Prior experience working in a hotel Conference & Banqueting department
