Job Title:Maintenance Store PositionContract: Full time/Permanent ContractOpportunity:The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective organization, control, and issuing of spare parts, tools, and consumables required by maintenance technicians to support the repair and upkeep of machinery and infrastructure within a food manufacturing facility.Duties:Receive, inspect, label, and store maintenance spare parts and supplies in compliance with GMP and food safety standards.Maintain accurate inventory records for MRO items, including bearings, motors, belts, sensors, valves, electrical components, and lubricants.Issue spare parts and tools to maintenance technicians and accurately record usage within the CMMS system.Monitor stock levels and supplier lead times to prevent production downtime.Coordinate closely with maintenance planner and engineering regarding parts availability, specifications, and requirements.Verify that all parts meet equipment specifications and food-grade standards prior to release.Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready maintenance storeroom.Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.Identify and manage obsolete, damaged, or non-conforming parts in accordance with plant procedures.Support preventative maintenance activities by preparing and staging required spare parts and maintenance kits.Comply with all onsite safety, GMP, and food safety policies.Store and manage oils and greases in accordance with safety and environmental requirements.Requirements:Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, part specifications, and equipment manuals.Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.Effective communication and coordination with maintenance and production teams.Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge relevant to maintenance operations.
