Job Purpose: Due to continuous expansion, our client is seeking a Junior Design Engineerto join their team.
The successful applicant will support the Design department with responsibility for Solar PV system designs, preparation of underfloor heating and radiator designs, heat loss calculations for heat pumps and review of electrical and mechanical schematics.
This role requires strong attention to detail, and an awareness of Building regulations is of paramount importance, along with compliance with the SEAI requirements.
Working in conjunction with other stakeholders, you will be a proactive and clear communicator, able to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload.
This is an office-based role, where some travel to site may be required occasionally.
Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities: Technical design support Electrical & Mechanical Schematics Preparation of underfloor heating and radiator designs Heat loss designs for heat pump systems Liaising with clients at system design stage Design support for Architects/BER Assessors/Consultants and Engineers Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulation Any other duties as reasonably requested within your capability to perform.
