About the Role
We are seeking an
experienced Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor
to join a leading construction delivery team supporting
groundworks and civils operations
across a live project in
Dublin
.
This role is ideal for someone who has solid site experience and enjoys working in fast-paced, hands-on environments — ensuring quality, coordination, and safety across all aspects of the work.
You'll be working with a supportive team that values initiative, problem-solving, and strong on-site leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily groundworks operations and ensure smooth coordination of teams on-site.
* Liaise closely with Project Engineers, Foremen, and Subcontractors to meet project milestones.
* Oversee site health & safety standards, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
* Ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Monitor material deliveries, manpower allocation, and progress reporting.
* Support setting out teams and provide technical input where required (no setting out experience necessary).
What We're Looking For
* Civil Engineering or Construction qualification (Degree or Diploma).
* Proven experience working in a
site-based civil or groundworks role
.
* Strong understanding of
site processes, drainage, foundations, and utilities
.
* Ability to manage small teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A proactive, safety-focused mindset.
* familiar with Irish water standards and guidelines onsite
* Full driving licence
and flexibility to travel within the Dublin region.
