We’re exclusively partnering with a large PLC to appoint a Group Corporate Development Executive to its Dublin HQ.
This is a high-impact role within a well-established in-house M&A team, offering exposure to end-to-end transactions, strategic projects, and engagement with senior stakeholders across a global organisation.
This position provides a unique opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a front-office corporate development role, working closely with senior leadership on acquisitions and strategic initiatives. The role also offers strong long-term progression opportunities into Group Finance or senior operational finance roles.
The Role
As part of a high-performing corporate development team, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing M&A opportunities across multiple geographies.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and strategic investments
Delivering detailed financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis
Managing elements of the transaction lifecycle, from initial assessment through to completion
Coordinating and overseeing due diligence processes (financial, commercial, legal)
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors (legal, tax, corporate finance)
Supporting the preparation of investment papers and Board-level presentations
Assisting in the negotiation and review of transaction documentation
Contributing to broader strategic and corporate development projects
About You
You’ll be a high-calibre finance professional with strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in M&A and strategy. This will suit a newly qualified accountant.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), ideally trained in a Big 4 firm
Experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or M&A
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Exposure to due diligence and deal processes
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
International experience or additional language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential.
