Overview

Title: Call Centre Executive

Location: Dublin 9

Terms: Full-Time, Permanent, Office-Based, Monday - Friday, 9 - 5:30

Package: €35,000 - €40,000, 22 Days Annual Leave, Pension, Healthcare

A Dublin 9-based logistics company is now seeking a Call Centre Executive to join their EMEA-focused team to support the Call Centre Manager with the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The role will involve direct customer interaction, shipment tracking and operational support across both domestic and international operations.


Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and web-based queries from clients and partners in a professional and timely manner.
* Track shipments from collection through to delivery, providing regular updates and proactively resolving issues.
* Record and maintain accurate data, ensuring internal systems are kept up to date.
* Support clients with queries on documentation, customs, and compliance requirements (training will be provided).
* Escalate complex cases to the Call Centre Manager or relevant team when required.
* Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Provide multilingual support where possible to enhance customer experience across EMEA.
* Contribute to team performance targets by consistently meeting service standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting solutions to recurring issues.


General Requirements

* Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or logistics support role is preferred.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional telephone manner.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under pressure.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable with internal systems/CRMs.
* Multilingual skills are an advantage due to the regional scope of the role.
* Flexibility to work occasional hours outside of standard shifts, depending on business needs.
