Customer Advocate – French Speaking
Location: Galway, Ireland
Overview: HID, a global leader in trusted identities, seeks a dedicated Customer Advocate to build strong relationships with customers across the region. The role supports sales, pre‑booking holds, and order fulfillment by maintaining accurate customer data, resolving issues, and ensuring proactive communication.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers – internal and external.
* Ensure customer information is accurate in CRM Salesforce.com and eBS Oracle defaults.
* Attend product training to deepen knowledge of HID solutions.
* Handle customer queries via phone and email, using SF.com case management and escalating to the Customer Care Team Leader/BU as needed.
* Co‑ordinate with other departments to resolve orders, issues, and concerns.
* Proactively call customers to inform them of order changes as advised by Production Control and/ or CS Order Fulfilment Team Leader.
* Log all communication with customers in CRM SF.com.
Qualifications
* 3 to 5 years of Customer Service experience in a high‑technology industry.
* Passion for customer satisfaction and self‑starter ability to work with limited supervision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French (preferred) or another European language.
* Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, meet SLAs, and achieve team/department goals.
* Solid team player with clear and effective communication skills; attention to detail and follow‑up.
* Previous experience in a busy customer services department and technological environment advantageous.
* Typing speed of 55 wpm; high school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills
* English – verbal and written.
* French – verbal and written (preferred); other European language optional.
