We are currently seeking experienced wait staff to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.
Job Description:
As an Experienced Wait Staff member at Heyday, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of our client's guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing Exceptional Service: Delivering top-notch service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
* Team Collaboration: Working seamlessly with our catering team, chefs, and other staff members to guarantee a smooth and enjoyable event experience.
* Attention to Detail: Setting up and maintaining event spaces, ensuring they are impeccably presented, and adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
* Guest Interaction: Engaging with guests professionally, answering inquiries, and accommodating special requests to enhance their overall dining experience.
Requirements
* Table Setting: Prepare tables for dining, including setting up utensils, napkins, and glassware in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
* Food and Beverage Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
* Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are accurately relayed to the kitchen and verify that the correct dishes are served to guests.
* Timing: Maintain a keen sense of timing to deliver courses at the appropriate pace, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
* Cleanliness: Keep work areas and dining areas clean and tidy at all times, including clearing tables efficiently between courses.
* Problem Solving: Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
* Payment Handling: Handle guest payments accurately and efficiently, including processing credit card transactions and dandling cash payments.
Qualifications:
* Previous Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining restaurant or a similar upscale hospitality setting.
* Customer-Focused: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Punctuality: Reliable and punctual, consistently arriving for shifts on time.
* Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to the company's dress code standards.
