What You Can Expect
Responsible for providing manufacturing engineering services to support cellular manufacturing and timely new product introductions. Services include process development, cell management, tool design, and CNC programming.
How You'll Create Impact
* Conduct feasibility studies to estimate product costs and analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements affecting make versus buy decisions.
* Establish process methods that meet performance and quality standards.
* Develop preliminary bills of materials and routers.
* Develop a variety of applications, including machining, finishing, forging, casting, thermal processes, and molding.
* Negotiate target completion dates with relevant departments.
* Develop and manage budgets.
* Mentor new engineers.
* Communicate effectively with management and keep them informed.

What Makes You Stand Out
* Expertise in manufacturing and new product processing; experience in developing processing for new projects; mastery of at least two skill sets as defined by the Engineering Review Board.
* Knowledge of control procedures, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Familiarity with drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
* Ability to balance marketing, manufacturing, and design requirements to meet customer needs.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating high technical expertise, tact, and discretion.
* Proficiency in Statistical Process Control, process development, CNC programming, CAD systems, and Unigraphics 3-D modeling software.
Your Background
* B.S. in mechanical, industrial, or related engineering field plus 5+ years of manufacturing process development experience, or equivalent education and experience.
