Your new job as the Finance Manager encompasses financial reporting, tax reporting, AP and payroll oversight for the Irish manufacturing and distribution operations, managing a team of 6 well-established financial accountants and finance administration professionals who you will mentor in a collaborative and high-performance environment.
You will manage efficient month-end and year-end processes for both financial and tax reporting and ensure all statutory returns are timely and compliant.
You will provide detailed variance analysis on spend versus budget to non-finance leaders which will raise your visibility across the organisation.
Your team will process AP and payroll and you will assist them with technical accounting guidance and ideas for efficiencies in how this work is done.
You will also engage in interesting project work with a busy digital transformation programme underway seeing a site wide ERP upgrade which you will assist with as well as looking at new ways to maximise the R&D tax credit funding for site activities.
