Bookkeeping, Payroll & Administration Executive (Part-Time)Location:North Dublin (Fully Onsite)Working Pattern:Tuesday to Friday (4 days per week)Our client is a long-established and growing accountancy practice based in North Dublin, conveniently close to the city centre. With over 40 years' experience supporting SME clients across a broad range of industries, the firm offers a friendly, professional environment with a strong focus on quality client service.Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experiencedBookkeeping, Payroll & Administration Executiveto join their close-knit team.This is a busy, hands-on position providing bookkeeping, payroll and administrative support across a varied portfolio of clients. The role is client-facing and requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.You will report directly to the Senior Accountant / Practice Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeepingMaintain accurate accounting records for a portfolio of clientsProcess purchase and sales invoices, bank reconciliations and journalsPrepare and submit VAT returns (where applicable)Liaise with clients to resolve queries and obtain missing informationEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsPayrollProcess weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for multiple clientsCalculate salaries, overtime, statutory payments and deductionsManage starters, leavers and employee data changesProduce payslips, payroll reports and pension submissionsRespond to payroll-related queries from clients and employeesAdministration & Practice SupportProvide general administrative support to partners and accountantsMaintain client records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to dateManage filing calendars, deadlines and internal workflowsHandle correspondence, emails and telephone enquiriesAssist with client onboarding and engagement documentationSupport billing, invoicing and credit control processesCandidate ProfileMinimum 2+ years' experience in a similar roleAccountancy practice experience preferred, but candidates from busy multi-entity environments (e.g. large companies, estate agents managing multiple accounts) will also be consideredDemonstrable experience handling multiple clients or accounts simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll processesExperience using accounting and payroll software such as BrightBooks, Bright Accounts Production, Big Red Book, QuickBooks, Xero and/or SageAAT qualified or working towards AAT (desirable)Payroll qualification (desirable)Highly organised with excellent attention to detailAble to prioritise workload and meet competing deadlinesProfessional, confident communicator with clients and colleaguesComfortable working independently as well as part of a team
