Our client is a specialist engineering firm that have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Co. Tipperary, where they are delivering high-quality engineering projects across various sectors.
They are seeking an IntermediateQuantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role is based on-site in Tipperary, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and project resources in line with technical specifications.
* Participate in tendering processes, evaluate bids, and assist in procurement and supplier management.
* Carry out quantity take-offs with a particular focus on piping systems using piping isometrics and P&ID drawings.
* Monitor and control project budgets, producing regular financial reports and forecasts.
* Administer contracts, manage variations and change orders, and resolve any contractual disputes.
* Identify and assess financial and project risks, offering mitigation strategies as required.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including cost records and final accounts.
* Work closely with project teams to ensure financial control and project delivery targets are met.
What are we looking for?
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor, preferably in an engineering or mechanical contracting environment.
* Proven ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams, with experience carrying out piping measurements.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of design standards, technical documentation, and applicable construction regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple project deadlines.
* Full driving licence and access to own transport is essential.
