As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you'll greet customers with a smile, offer product and gift advice, and create a memorable experience that keeps customers coming back.
This is a temporary contract, with potential for a permanent role later depending on local opportunities.

About the role
You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Interaction:
Offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight our offers to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience and that no one leaves empty-handed.
Till Operation:
Support transactions at the counter and with self-checkouts, bringing energy and efficiency to every sale.
Stock Management:
Keep shelves full so customers can find what they need during the busy season.
Store Presentation:
Ensure the store looks its best at all times.
Online Order Support:
You may assist with deliveries, picking and packing for online orders as needed.

What you'll need to have
Full training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed:
Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, St Stephen's Day and New Year's Day.
Customer Service Skills:
Comfortable approaching customers and providing a personalised experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Operations Ready:
Ability to balance customer care with daily shopfloor and operational tasks.
Tech-Savvy:
Willing to learn and use new technology, including operating handheld devices, tills and self-checkouts.
Team Player:
A collaborative, one-team mindset to help the store achieve goals and enjoy the work.
Physical Stamina:
Able to stand, walk and lift; stay busy and active.
Brand Ambassador:
Represent the Boots ethos, products and services and share them with customers.
