Design Coordinator Opportunity
The role of a Design Coordinator is a crucial part of ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. In this position, you will be working closely with the project team and design team to ensure that all design information aligns with project requirements and timelines.
Responsibilities:
* Chair and minute weekly Design Team/Information meetings in collaboration with the Design Manager.
* Work with the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure design information meets project requirement timelines.
* Track the Design Release/Schedule of Information.
* Attend design/technical workshop meetings with subcontractors and design teams to agree on systems/products.
* Compile Material/Technical 'RDD' Submittals (MTS/TS).
* Update the Design Submissions tracker on a minimum weekly basis.
* Update the MTS/TS tracker.
* Maintain the RFI tracker.
* Liaise with the project team and Design Team, issuing agreed RFIs as required.
* Work closely with the client's Assigned Certifier.
* Assist with BCAR management.
Minimum Requirements:
* Suitably qualified with Design Coordinator experience.
* Relevant third-level qualification.
* Main contracting or developer background preferred.
* Candidates coming from design consulting will also be considered.
* Driver's license.
