We are hiring catering and kitchen staff to join our professional and friendly team. You will have an opportunity to work in the biggest and best healthcare in Dublin. This position does not suit people holding stamp 2 visas due to restrictions.
Requirements:
1. Must have at least five years’ experience working in a hospital/nursing kitchen setting or come from a high volume catering commercial background.
2. Excellent English both written and verbal.
3. Ability to adapt to working in a new healthcare kitchen environment.
4. Must have two working references.
5. Valid work permits to work full time in Ireland with no restrictions.
6. Must be flexible with working hours.
7. Candidates should have a positive and committed approach to their work.
Responsibilities:
1. Working on the main wash up area and heavy duty pot wash.
2. General day-to-day cleaning of the kitchen.
3. Helping the chefs with daily tasks.
4. Goods in and goods out.
5. Stock control and stock rotation.
6. Deep cleaning procedure weekly.
7. To ensure the highest level of cleanliness is followed throughout the day.
8. Cleaning all crockery and cutlery.
9. Ensuring all food preparation areas are clean and tidy at all times.
10. Working as part of the kitchen team and following instructions from management.
11. Following all HACCP procedures.
12. Ability to work efficiently and keep calm under pressure.
13. To ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
