The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance, enhancing food safety standards, and delivering a best-in-class fresh food experience for customers.Salary:€55k - €60kResponsibilities:Support and guide stores across all fresh food categories, driving overall performance within the regionEnsure deli and fresh departments consistently operate to the highest standardsDevelop and evolve location-appropriate menus to meet changing consumer trends and expectationsBuild strong working relationships with Store Managers and teams to foster a high-performing retail cultureSupport stores with stocktaking procedures and profitability controls, addressing underperformance in line with company standardsAdvise management teams on achieving and maintaining strong food safety standards, including the effective implementation and verification of HACCP systemsOrganise and deliver training related to certified food safety management systemsWork collaboratively with the wider retail support and operations teams to improve performance and executionIdentify stock loss risks and implement controls to minimise waste, damages, and out-of-date stockRequirements:Previous experience in a retail fresh food environmentExcellent knowledge of retail-level food safety and compliance standardsHACCP Trainer qualification is essentialFull clean driver's licence and willingness to travel within the regionStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence teamsProven track record of delivering KPIs and driving performance improvementStrong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilityIf you are interested in thisFresh Food Area Managerrole, then please apply directly to Nikki Murran via the link below.
