Job description:Main Duties:The Front Counter Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and organisation of the daily restaurant operations with a target of controlling costs but also providing a top-class experience to customers.Restaurant Supervisor responsibilities include:Management of the daily operations within the restaurant.Supervision of all Employees within the restaurant, ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant on a daily basis.Ensuring that high sales are achieved whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are achieved.Ensuring that the team are motivated, providing praise, advice and constructive criticism where necessary, and also ensuring effective performance management.Ensuring that stock is organised and order as required.Have a noticeable presence with the restaurant, and ensure that all customer needs are constantly met to their satisfaction.Quick and effective resolution of customer complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring that customers are receiving the best possible service at all times.Ensuring that the restaurant is kept in a clean and organised manner at all times.Ensuring that stock taking is adhered to regularly to ensure the freshest of product is being served.Health & SafetyEnsure that all health safety procedures are followedActively look for any hazards, especially fire, while carrying out all daily dutiesOperate all equipment as per manufacturer's and Manager's instructionsMaintain security awareness at all timesEnsure that HACCP Guidelines are followed at all times.CommunicationMaintain the highest standard of communication with the management team.People ManagementEnsure the team comply to a consistent high standard of personal hygiene and personal presentation at all times.Ensure effective communication by attending supervisor meetings as required.Evaluate performance, give guidance and conduct job chats.Support and deliver training to team members and actively develop the skills and knowledge of the department as a whole.Manage and organise all training activities of the restaurant employees, and deliver where necessaryJob Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: From €16.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 40 per weekWork Location: In person
