Rolling Stock Engineer (374441) Dublin Based - Rate c.€75.00 per hour Immediate start - 12 months initial contract.
Provision of auditing services covering the following areas: 1) Rolling stock maintenance process and activities carried out by the Luas Operations and Maintenance Contractor (the Operator); 2) Operators adherence to overall annual maintenance plan and implementation of robust Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS); 3) Control processes for replacement of new parts and overhauls; 4) Operators subcontractor control processes; Provision of independent professional reviews of the Operators technical modifications to current rolling stock configuration (either modification at component level or service/process).
Monitoring of tram vehicle health, lifecycle cost tracking, maintenance planning, and support for asset replacement strategies.
Chartered engineer, with a minimum qualification of NFQ Level 8.
A minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, at least 3 of which were in a railway rolling stock environment.
