We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, ensuring high-quality mechanical design solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.About the Role:Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed mechanical designs, with a focus on HVAC systems, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.Prepare specifications for piping systems, ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry standards.Design and specify cooling systems for various applications, optimizing performance and energy efficiency.Oversee the design and specification of mechanical services, including but not limited to ventilation, heating, and plumbing systems.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and contractors, to deliver integrated design solutions.Conduct site visits to review installations and ensure compliance with design specifications.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to implement best practices in design.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Up to 10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a strong focus on building services.Demonstrated expertise in HVAC system design and operation.Strong knowledge of piping systems and materials specification.Experience designing and specifying cooling systems, including chillers, heat exchangers, and other associated equipment.Proficiency in specifying mechanical services for diverse applications.Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.Solid understanding of relevant industry standards and building codes.Excellent communication and project management skills.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionDesignIndustries: Construction and Engineering Services
