This role working in UHG hospital offers exceptional job satisfaction and work-life balance.As Commis Chef within our company, you will work with an exceptional team producing patient meals and supporting restaurant production and service. Are you a motivated and focused person who might like to join a company that offers opportunities for professional growth and job satisfaction?What we are looking for from you:To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily meal production for the restaurant and patient meals.Be a champion of our food offering on campus, delivering great food services in our restaurants.To follow the Catering Hygiene Policy guidelines and Aramark's dress code policy, always maintaining a clean uniform and hygienic appearance.Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure all necessary information is recorded accurately and efficiently.Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed, use the FIFO rule.Co-operate fully and participate with/in all health and safety training programsComply with and adhere to all Aramark & Hospital policies and proceduresHave requisite working experience and culinary expertise to be creativeAbility to multi-task and handle multiple roles as required, with a good understanding of all sections of the kitchenHave good organisational skills and work consistently with attention to detailWhat we are offering you:Meals provided while at workUniform and shoes providedAdvancement opportunities available for employees who would like to build a career with usAn opportunity to be part of our team training for Catex and other national cheffing competitionsBasic training given and additional training opportunities offeredSick payCompany pension scheme availableYou must have:Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering businessAn interest in people and the drive to deliver exceptional serviceA strong background in food productionKnowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCPA problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitudeGarda Vetting maybe a requirement for this roleAramarkReach for RemarkableAramark Northern Europe is an equal opportunities employer
