Your new company As Head of Internal Communications, you will join a leading Irish semi-state utility company who are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of utilities across Ireland.
Your new office is conveniently located in Dublin City and offers a hybrid work model; 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.

Your new role As Head of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for leading internal communications across your new company and its business units, including office and field-based employees, enabling business performance by supporting the drive for employee engagement, empowering and coaching senior leaders in internal communications, thereby increasing organisation communications capability, and enabling reputational improvement through internal and external communications alignment and employee advocacy.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, developing and delivering an internal communications strategy; establishing the governance, processes and resources to deliver internal communications strategy; co-develop and coordinate CEO visibility and reputation strategies; driving understanding of and commitment to company purpose, vision and strategy, values and behaviours; developing, implementing and continuously adapting a suite of integrated digital, dialogue-driven and hybrid channels; contributing to employee engagement through a programme of communications and all general leadership duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have recent relevant experience in a similar internal communications or stakeholder management role with 5+ years working at a senior manager level.
Significant leadership, change & transformation experience, ideally in a similar utility, regulated industry or multi-stakeholder environment, is required.
You will have the ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions with a proven track record of successful delivery against business objectives within a complex and large organisational context.
You will be an excellent communicator with the capability to handle complex and difficult situations.
Strong negotiation skills along with being financially and commercially astute is essential.
With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements in a similar role, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
