We are currently looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer for one of our clients.What You'll DoDeveloping and managing the Design Delivery Schedule for all Electrical works along with the Design & Engineering Managers, Manufacturing Project Manager, multi-discipline design team and Clients.Undertaking Design development from basis of design for Clients.Undertaking design assist scopes of work in parallel with Clients and their appointed AE/EoR's.Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered.Control the Electrical design process from start to finish.Conduct regular meetings with the production team and ensure all technical issues are addressed immediately.Liaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works.Manage and coordinate external consultants.Assist Project Manager in incorporating all internal and external design and cost issues onto a schedule.Manage the distribution and production of project workload within the project team and design consultant team.Preferred QualificationsThird Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering/Design essential.Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role desirable.Have keen attention to detail and production of quality General arrangement layout drawings.Knowledge of Services coordination, SLD's and Design Schematics required.Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issues.Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office essential.Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.The candidate must be eligible to work full time in Ireland without sponsorship.
