Tasks
* Translation and cultural adaptation of game texts from English to Japanese (character dialogues, narrative, menu texts, descriptions of elements and functions)
* Meeting requirements for translation quality, speed, and deadlines
* Post-editing machine translation
* Interaction with editors, development teams, and other translators in the department
* Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the assigned project (at least for 1 project): glossary in memoQ, articles and style guides in the Knowledge Base
* Handling feedback on the quality of translations
Requirements
* Native fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
* A background in linguistics, translation, and/or localization is preferred
* Gaming experience and interest in mobile technology
* Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
* Critical thinking, creativity, commitment to quality
