Middle Office Operations Manager
Oliver James is partnering with a leading investment organisation to recruit a Middle Office Operations Manager for their Dublin office.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, ensuring trade integrity, regulatory compliance, and process optimisation across various asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team in achieving operational excellence.
* Oversee trade lifecycle management, including matching, settlement, reconciliation, and failed trade resolution.
* Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to maintain compliance.
* Manage collateral processes and relationships with outsourced providers to optimise efficiency.
* Monitor and manage OTC derivatives lifecycle events and associated documentation to minimise risk.
* Drive process automation and data analytics initiatives to enhance decision-making.
* Champion operational risk awareness and implement process improvements aligned with industry best practices.
* Coordinate operational requirements for fund launches, closures, and mergers to ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in financial operations, with strong exposure to Middle Office.
* Extensive knowledge of the full trade and settlement lifecycle, including OTC derivatives and exchange-traded instruments.
* Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Experience with fund operations and a strong understanding of NAV impactors.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes.
* Hands-on experience with systems such as Bloomberg, SWIFT, CTM, OSTTRA, FusionInvest, and BI tools.
* A relevant third-level qualification in Finance, Mathematics, or related field to underpin technical expertise.
