Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified accountant with a strong foundation in accounting principles to join our team and pursue tax exams or have experience with tax. This role is ideal for an individual looking to enhance their expertise in tax compliance and advisory services while contributing to our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Assist with tax compliance and planning, including corporate and personal tax returns.
* Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax legislation.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Support the audit process and liaise with auditors as necessary.
* Mentor and assist junior staff in their development.
* Prepare financial reports and analyze financial performance.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Demonstrable experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of tax principles.
* Intention to pursue tax examinations in Ireland (e.g., Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)).
