Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast/Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at The Ravenport Resort, part of the Neville Hotel Group.
The role
You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast dishes, ensuring smooth and efficient service. You will also have responsibilities in Pastry, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes to a high standard.
* Prepare and cook high-quality pastry dishes to a high standard.
* Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and monitored throughout service for temperature and quality.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the head chef.
* Work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast service periods.
* Assist with lunch prep and support other kitchen teams as needed.
* Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
* Be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ensure consistency in portion control and food presentation.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
* The ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The right to work unrestricted in Ireland.
