MTM Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Planner to join our Team. You will be based on one of our sites across Europe, working on a 3/1 rotation.
The Role...
As Project Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing projects through preconstruction to completion. The role will be crucial to developing, improving and monitoring project schedules.

MTM Engineering is a market leading specialist electrical contractor that provides medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Headquartered in Ireland, we deliver mission critical projects for a range of customers across Europe and beyond. Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.
Responsibilities...
* Responsible for creating and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure completion of project in a timely manner capturing any variations etc.
* Recommend modifications to improve effectiveness and achieve project milestones.
* Prepare short- and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from key stakeholders.
* Regular site walks to assist site teams with planning matters.
* Identify potential risks, deviations that can hinder project schedule, resulting in delays with significant costs and penalties and corrective actions.
* Gather data incorporating any changes in work scope, update schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
* Provide regular progress reports to all site teams and highlight concerns, develop mitigating measures to avoid delays.
* Host progress planning meetings with internal and external teams to re-calibrate plans in line with progress
The Person...
* 3rd level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical preferable but not essential
* Demonstrable commercial experience with Primavera P6 is essential.
* Experience in scheduling large, complex industrial, capital improvement projects managing teams of schedulers
* Experience working on Data Centre projects is desirable
* Ability to communicate at high level and represent the company in client and contractor meetings
