The Membership Team
With the aim of strengthening its services to members, the CIF is seeking to appoint an Executive to join our Membership team.
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Membership Development Executive to support the expansion and engagement of our national membership base. This role will collaborate on developing and executing membership growth campaigns, generating leads, enhancing member onboarding experiences, and supporting retention strategies.
About the role
This role is based in the Dublin office on Canal Road, Dublin 6 and will benefit from our remote working policy. Some travel will be required with the role and all candidates should have a drivers licence and access to a car.
Reporting to the Head of Membership, the successful candidate will work closely with internal teams including communications, digital, training and development, regional branches, and sectoral associations to deliver measurable growth and improved member engagement. This role will require someone with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to serving the needs of members.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Recruitment & Growth
- Implement and manage targeted campaigns to attract new members across all regions and sectors
- Identify and pursue opportunities for membership expansion, including partnerships, events, and industry engagement
- Maintain and develop lead-generation systems and track conversion metrics
- Membership Marketing & Campaign Management
- With the Communications teams, plan multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, digital, print) to promote CIF membership value
- Create compelling content tailored to different segments of the industry
- Analyse campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly
- Onboarding & Engagement
- Work with the Head of Membership to refine the new member onboarding journey
- Develop materials and touchpoints to enhance early-stage member engagement
- Gather and report on feedback to improve overall member satisfaction
- Data & CRM Management
- Segment member data for personalised outreach
- Report regularly on KPIs, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Event Support & Representation
- Assist in planning and promoting CIF member-focused events, webinars, and roadshows
- Represent CIF at industry events, trade shows, and regional meetings where relevant
About the person
- 3+ years' experience in a marketing, membership or business development role
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of CRM systems and data-driven marketing (Salesforce or similar)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Some travel will be required with the role and applicants must have a drivers licence and access to a car.
- Experience in a membership organisation, trade association, professional body, or B2B services environment
- Familiarity with the Irish construction sector or related industries
