Clinical Nurse Manager II Role
The position of Clinical Nurse Manager II is a senior leadership role that oversees and maintains high standards of clinical practice in a theatre setting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance, managing staffing levels effectively, fostering staff development through continuous professional development opportunities, and promoting practice development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the nursing team.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing staffing levels to optimize resource allocation.
* Providing opportunities for continuous professional development to foster staff growth and capabilities.
* Promoting practice development initiatives to enhance nursing team skills and capabilities.
* Overseeing and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
Requirements include:
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* A minimum of 5 years full-time relevant post-qualification experience in an acute setting.
* At least two years' experience within the specialty or related area.
* Demonstration of continuous professional development.
Desirable qualifications include:
* Peri-operative qualification.
* Postgraduate course or relevant education course.
* Healthcare management qualification.
* Experience with electronic health records.
* Preceptorship experience.
