We are seeking a new Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator to join our team, to play a pivotal role in our organization, utilizing their exceptional organizational and people skills. As Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning and maintaining stock levels, creating and managing purchase orders, and sustaining excellent relationships with vendors, customers, and service providers.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong acumen for logistics, display a great understanding of stock movement and maintenance, and demonstrate a passion for exceeding targets. We are looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and professional, with strong administrative skills and someone who takes pride and ownership in their contribution. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

* Demonstrate evidence of robust computer literacy and typing/keyboard skills (i.e. MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential, coupled with an ability to learn new technologies and use specified software systems.
* Demonstrate ability to prioritise tasks and manage work efficiently to strict deadlines.
* Have excellent accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process data efficiently.
* Have strong oral and written English communication skills with an ability to engage and interact effectively with supplier companies and other stakeholders in a busy business environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, forecast, and execute accurate purchase orders based on historical data, relevant customer information, and industry trends.
* Own order fulfilment activities from order placement, through material delivery, including dating needs, delivery schedule, agreed pricing, and other relevant priorities.
* Review purchase orders along with other documentation from suppliers to ensure that incoming deliveries match order quantities and comply with company quality standards.
* Manage and maintain stock levels. Communicate with relevant departments in order to accurately identify required stock levels, daily shortage reporting, product shelf lives, goods-in activities, and obsolete materials.
* Actively part-take in stock taking processes, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations.
* Analyse opportunities and trends within the supply chain network. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ordering patterns.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently manage warehouse capacity, ordering lead-times, and compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers. Manage end-to-end procurement processes including the selection of new vendors, monitoring supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns.
* Liaising with and managing the courier and haulage providers, ensuring efficient performance, compliance with transport regulations and that SLAs are met. Support the transfer of materials between sites.
* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes.
* Log all customer complaints from initial report to end result and maintain customer feedback log. Report to Senior Management on effective operation of the quality processes and escalation of any potential risks regarding suppliers/customers.
* Support the creation and management of product specifications, certificates of conformance and similar quality and conformance documents.
* Manage all aspects of FSC & PEFC certifications including facilitating the annual audit.
* Work with the financial department to confirm, query, and process invoices and credit notes.
* Oversee transport costs, implement cost saving strategies, and ensure service quality.
* Calculation of overhead and indirect costs associated with inbound goods.
