We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time positions at our Waterford Garden Centre. (Part-time roles may suit experienced candidates seeking 2–3 days per week.)
Nursery / Horticultural Worker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Role Overview
* Plant production, maintenance, and care
* Nursery operations, including potting, pruning, watering, propagation, take-away preparation, and general upkeep
* Supporting seasonal workloads in a working plant nursery
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience working in a plant nursery or horticultural setting
* Practical knowledge of plants and growing conditions
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Contract: Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Retail Garden Centre Worker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Role Overview
* Customer service and plant advice
* Plant care, merchandising, and stock presentation
* Daily retail operations within a busy garden centre
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 1 year's experience working in a garden centre in Ireland
* Strong plant knowledge and customer-facing experience
* Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, motivated, and hands-on approach
